 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished Husband, Father and Nonno LUIGI AVERSA on April 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Luigi was born in Ceccano, Italy. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Luigina.  Loving father of Pietro (Katie), Domenico (Jennifer) and Steve (Jackie).  Proud Nonno of Elizabeth, Victoria, Daria, Isabella, Dante, Luca and Julia. Predeceased by his parents Domenico and Elisabetta and in laws Pietro (Carolina) Piroli. Survived by his Sister Angela (Angelo) Liburdi, brother Angelo Aversa and Zii Leonardo (Renata) Diana.  Luigi will be forever missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family in Canada and Italy. The family would like to thank the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus for their compassionate care. A special thank you to the amazing staff on the 7th floor. (519-253-7234) on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services Friday, April 11, 2025 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then in procession to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
