It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Zia and devoted Friend on April 23, 2023 at 80 years of age. Loving Wife of Riccardo for 60 years. Adored Mother of Sandra, Gianni (Kathy) and the late Danio (2009). Dear Sister of the late Ada Maria Piccolo (2022) (late Francesco 2022). Sister-in-law of the late Amelia Audia (late Vincenzo), the late Francesco (Franca Anna), the late Alberico (Maria), the late Renaldo (Rosetta) and Mariano Frangella (Lina). Beloved Zia of Tony Martire (Antonietta), George Piccolo, Adriana Piccolo, Marisa Taranto (Joe) and Diane Silvestri (Joe). Great Zia of Rosa, Stefania, Lisa, Adrian, Alexia, Sabrina, Giulia, Ava and Alyssa. She will be sadly missed by many Nieces and Nephews in Italy.
Amelia was an amazing cook and pastry maker. Her homemade sauce and gnocchi rivaled those of a sous chef. Amelia’s home was always open to everyone and you never left hungry. Above all, Amelia was a loving and devoted wife, mother and mother-in-law.
A special thank you to Dr. John Minardi, Dr. Dean Favot, Dr. Mohammad Hussain, Dr. Patel and the outstanding nursing staff at WRH Ouellette Campus especially Tania, Amira, Meghan, Erica, for their care and compassion.
If you so desire, donations to In Honour Of The Ones We Love or the Kidney Foundation/Windsor & District Chapter would be appreciated by the family.
