In his 60th year, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, David passed peacefully at home on August 21, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and was reunited with his precious daughter Jalynn (2009). Devoted husband and best friend to Deborah for 34 years. Loving father to Brennan (Carlyle) and Jared (Emma). Beloved son to Dr. Joseph and Joan Emon. Dear brother to Dr. Michael Emon (Danielle), Dr. Steven Emon (Lynn) and Lori Murphy (Dean). Cherished son-in-law of Gerald and Joan Zima. Adored brother-in-law of Charles Zima (Patricia), Alison Zima and Brian Zima. Dear uncle to Eric, Ian, Isaac, Adam, Olivia, Maggie, Cassie, Mitchel, Natalie, Patrick, Sabrina, Katherine, Gabrielle and Nicole. Forever remembered by his extended family and many friends.
David enjoyed practicing family dentistry for 34 years. He was athletic and played numerous sports including baseball, floor hockey and golf—shooting a hole-in-one at Roseland in June 2021. He was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as the Tigers, Lions and Wolverines. David was a man of many talents and would often wander the aisles of home improvement stores shopping for his next project.

Visitation Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Families First East Windsor, 1065 Lauzon Road (519-969-5841).
On Friday, August 26, 2022, friends are invited to join the family after 9:30 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 4401 Mt. Royal Drive. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
