January 22, 1927- November 21, 2020

With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, nonna, and bisnonna on November 21, at the age of 93. She is now reunited with her true love Eugenio (2000).
Loving and devoted mother of Angelo (2007) and Rosemary, Antonio and Lucy, Anna and Brad Davidson of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Proud and caring nonna of Daniela and John, Eugene and Dawn, Stephanie and Mark, Laura and Nick, Lauren and Jake, Travis and Erika , John and Stacey. Cherished bisnonna of Selena, Alexa, Brianna, Ella, Mia and Aria. Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Maria and in-laws Bernardo and Angela. Dear sister of Pasquale and Marisa, Natalina and Gaetano (deceased), Francesco and Elvira. Predeceased by brother Domenico (Carolina). Sisters, Felicia (Mario), Louisa (Luca), and Angela (Silvano). Also predeceased by brothers and sister-in-laws, Giuseppa (Antonio), Luigi (Francesca), Alfredo (Vincenzo), Domenico (Natalina), Domenica (Emilio) and Salma (Armando). Michelina will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada, the United States and Italy. Michelina was born and raised in Ripi, Italy. She immigrated to Canada in 1966 along with her husband and three young children to build a better life. A homemaker most of her life, Michelina’s passion was tending to her garden and was known for her cooking. Her most treasured memories were Sunday lunches spent with family and friends. A very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chung, Antonia Preziosi (deceased), Franca Notarantonio, Tony, Franca and Staff at Dolce Vita Retirement, Ouellette Campus, Emara Building 3 South and The Village of Aspen Lake for your friendship, compassion and care. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Service to take place in the chapel on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. In kindnesss, donations may be made online to In Honour of the Ones we Love. Reservations and masks are required to attend the visitation, funeral service and cemetery.
